EM dashes, “Its not this; its that”. It’s so obviously AI it makes the membership not worth it. I still have to back and manually edit these cover letters and text entries to look remotely human.
Thanks for the candid feedback, and sorry the cover letters have been reading this way. You're right that patterns like em dashes and "it's not this; it's that" phrasing make the writing feel machine-generated, and having to rewrite it by hand defeats the purpose.
We've been testing changes to how cover letters are written so the output comes out plainer and more natural. That work is actively in progress, and we'll post an update here once the improvements ship. Stay tuned.
