Hey @Jason, this can happen for one of two reasons:
Your resume is not being parsed correctly, and we’re missing the keywords. This would be a challenge on other ATS parsers as well.
The exact keyword match is not present.
We’re working on launching a more flexible keywords detector users can opt-in for, but the caveat here is that traditional ATS systems still use strict keywords or boolean filters. That means, while cross-functional is the same as cross functional, the recruiter is still going to miss it. Dumb? Absolutely, but that’s the way these systems were built back in the day.
