The date was incorrectly taken from my resume and there is no way to update the date besides hide the month. I can edit the description but not edit the dates.
You can edit the dates by going to your Simplify profile here: https://simplify.jobs/profile. Find the specific Work Experience entry you want to update, click the pen icon, and you’ll be able to change the dates directly.
