Right now, only generated resumes can be used as a base when tailoring with the Resume Builder. Uploaded resumes aren't editable and can't currently be used as a starting point for tailoring.
That said, this is something we're actively looking into adding to our roadmap, as we know having the flexibility to start from uploaded resumes is important to a lot of usersHelp.
Let me know if you'd like help getting started with tailoring a generated resume instead!
