I was advised by Gemini AI (Use Application Tracking Systems-friendly formatting: Use a clean, simple layout, avoid tables and images, and use standard fonts).

I uploaded a new resume/made it my default that’s ATS friendly but everytime I create a new resume for a new application Simplify only has templates that include the resume line breaks.

Feature Request: Can your team add a template that is ATS friendly?

    Thanks for the suggestion — and I appreciate you taking the time to look into resume formatting and ATS compatibility.

    Just to clarify, all of our resume templates are designed to be ATS-friendly by default. They use clean, structured layouts, standard fonts, and avoid elements like tables, images, or graphics that typically cause issues with older applicant tracking systems.

    The section breaks in most of our templates are there to help organize content more clearly — they’re actually helpful for most ATS parsers. That said, if you’re looking for a cleaner look without those breaks, our Accent template is the one template that omits section line breaks altogether.

    We’re always refining our options, so if you’ve come across a format that works particularly well for your needs, feel free to share.
