Return old Sidebar exit button

Recently when I try to exit the sidebar I now get options to minimize, hide until next visit, disable on this domain, or disable on all pages. This actually has made the experience worse because on multipage applications I exit quickly the first few pages and then have it autofill the next ones. So now I basically have to click twice as much. It would be nice if the x button exited immediately like it did before.
