Simplify Keeps popping up on some websites
On certain websites, Simplify will keep popping up, even when I X out of it. This is particularly annoying because it covers about half of the job posting so it makes it impossible for me to read it. See screenshot for an idea of what this looks like. I can’t find a way to disable this, so would appreciate it if that feature were added (and more generally if there’s some way to just ask simplify to not have this pop-up happen by default, only if I click
on the simplify add-on).

Hi Aristotle,
Thanks for flagging this! If the popup is getting in the way, you can limit when the extension runs directly from Chrome:
• Go to
chrome://extensions/• Find Simplify Copilot and click “Details”
• Under “Site access,” select “On click”
That will stop it from running automatically and only activate it when you click the icon. Let me know if that helps or if you'd still like a built-in toggle in the extension.
