Email Integration for Application Tracking

Since important emails (like interview invites or rejections) can easily get lost in a crowded inbox, it would be great if Simplify could scan for key terms (e.g., "application status," "interview," "we regret to inform you") and highlight potential job-related emails. Users could then confirm whether an email is related to a specific application, helping them keep track of responses more efficiently.

I think this could be a game-changer for job seekers who apply to multiple roles.

Need an MCP server for Simplify

I want Claude to check for rejection emails in my Inbox and then, based on that, update the application status in Simplify. This can be done either through the MCP server or a connector. Either way, need a way to do it.

Hey! We have an email integration that handles this for you automatically in Simplify+

We’re also launching an MCP beta on there soon as well :)

You don’t need to grant an actual email address account to a user as this is accompanied by legal and compliance issues and security.

You could accomplish this with an email alias system.

Upon signup you are given an email address of firstname.lastname[number]@domain.com.

When a user submits a job app they use this email. All emails to and from this email address are proxied/forwarded to the users actual email inbox but they can send/receive email with this email address.

Simplify simply monitors the other domain name that is sending the email and looks for keywords and then subsequently updates the users job board.

Thank you for clarifying that and providing a possible solution.
